Glad I am getting this installed on my car with less than 400 miles on the clock. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

FYI, we have released the plug and play kit for the driver side.

I will be up front and say that 90% of you will not see oil on the driver side in normal street driving.
The only time I was able to get oil on the driver side is when on the road course. High RPM and tons of on/off WOT will cause a draw on the driver side and pump oil into the intake tube.
I actually filled my separator in 1 30 minute session.
But again, most will only need the passenger side.

I ordered one about a week ago, and they told me it would ship out today as they were waiting on the hoses from Ford. I really hope it does because I want this thing in ASAP lol.

Black separators are in stock, clear is out of stock.
Hoses are on back order and due here tomorrow.

Hoses are due in tomorrow, but many have gone out all week. You will get a tracking number in the email if purchased from us.

Thanks

Just under 2200 miles...

Pretty much all winter long. I live less than 2 miles from where I work so the car doesn't really have time to warm up so there is a lot of moisture in there.

I just installed mine today. Install took maybe 30 seconds once I got the engine cover off - but you should probably mention that if you have a STB, that will need to come off in order to remove the engine cover - it won't slide under the STB. 4 13mm bolts and it comes right off. It's heavy!

I'll check back in a few hundred miles to see what all it's caught.

(yes, this is copied from TMS, but I figured I'd say it here too)

So after the weekend alone, and only 100 miles, the cans already collected about a teaspoon of oil. I did beat on it though... Im glad i added this now at 3500 miles, and not down the road...

Actually, I just lifted up the corner of the engine cover and installed it. No removal necessary.

We don't have a plug and play kit for the KB cars, but you can get our base kit and plumb it yourself very easy.

You don't need to remove the engine cover or strut bar to install the separator. We include directions on lifting the cover and how to unclip the hoses.

Great pictures of the oil collected, thanks!

Hey Jay.

Is there any need to clean these cans out down the road? The oil collects up top, then its dripped intot the can through the mesh material. I guess what im asking is after so many miles would it be a good idea to maybe throw some brake cleaner down the hoses or anything? Thanks.
