93 Race Tune with Ghost Cams

wtf happend to when we were all getting tunes for $50 and $75.. this $150-$250 just for a friggen TUNE is rediculous!

Just to confirm, the only thing that makes this tune possible is the Twin Cams, correct? Or is this just simply not engineered yet for the older DOHC's? My gut tells me that it's the new electronic controls for the Twin Cams... but what makes me questions is maybe the DOHC's CAN do it, it just needs something to "control" it? Or is part of what's controlling the Twins the actual cams? I have only briefly researched the new engines...

$200!?! Effffffff thaaaaaaaat! Ill go spend that money on a GT500 spoiler or add some coinage and pick up the Roush grille or a CS front valance.

exactly.. its not even a performance gain at all.. I told them I would send them the file of my current tune that is adjustable and just wanted them to add thier cammed sound to it, and was told it will be $200 still.. forget that shit..

His tunes are awesome. the Cammed sound is just an added bonus.
I wonder how much each tune is after the initial 200.
Cuz i def. dont want to drive around every day listening to the thump and feeling the car shake...

im not just saying his.. seems like EVERYONES prices for emailed tunes have jumped from $50-$75 to $150-$250.. thats crazy. In my case I didnt even want an entire tune.. just my current tune modified.. I would have thought my price would have been a little bit cheaper or something but I guess, not. anyways.. no point bitching about it really, I just noticed it is all.

I don't think it'd be in the best interest of a tuner to modify the tune from someone else.

I'd imagine any tuner would prefer to write his own tune.

The performance of this tune is amazing. It's much more than the lopey idle.

If you are getting your first tune, this is the one to get. If you are already running someone else's tune, then you need to decide if the lopey idle is worth the cost.

I thought the cost for the idle was worth it, and the performance increase over my other tune was an added bonus.

$200 isn't shit when we are paying $500-600 for an axleback. Which doesn't have any performance increase.

The drivability of the idle lope tune is much better with a stick than auto. Auto you get a lot of bucking at low rpm's such as slowing down to a stop or in a lot of slow and go traffic. Not very enjoyable and hopefully they can get this worked out over time.

Yeah, Im sure thats what he did. Im sure it wasnt the back and forth revising of the tune with me for 2 weeks straight to get it just right. It dosnt even sound like the boss tune...
