that doesn't seem totally out of whack for a PI headed 2 valve. Maybe a tad low but guys with the trick flow heads are only making 340-350whp and those heads are far better than any stock 2v head. Plus those cams seem awfully big for that motor. I wouldn't worry about it too much.

So you're saying a high compression N/A 2v with ported PI heads only makes 10rwhp more than a stock compression N/A 2v with non-ported PI heads?

I understand "big" as in duration, but what bothers me about those cams is the LSA at 108. My personal feeling on the matter is that the cams are bleeding out his compression stroke too much, and fresh air is getting sucked out the exhaust valve as well during intake draw. If I understand overlap correctly. This is why I asked for cam experts.

The other theory is that the heads are over-ported, which is very possible, and there just isn't a cam in the world that will bring his peak numbers up without sacrificing powerband. Meaning his heads are now only going to be good for boost. Not that he'll complain about going turbo or S/C, lol. We still want to make a more definate conclusion, and I'm positive all my the answers to my questions are with MHS.

Why 80mm throttle body?some guys are making 350 with a 70.Also what meter are you running.Your whole intake system seems like overkill to me.But then I'm no expert on 2v either.Take a look at anderson motorsports project 2000GT.

The intake is overkill, he intends to go FI in the next year or so, but wanted to run it N/A for a while. He's running a 90mm Lightning MAF. The 80mm TB was to match up with the 90mm edelbrock plenum.
