Well I sold my 2006 Shelby CS8 a couple months ago to a local forum/club member. I've been weighing my options and looking for a good deal ever since. I was being very particular about what I wanted, and I finally found it. It is a 2011 GT500 with 8k miles. It is being delivered from Tx next week! I got a killer deal on it and can't wait for it to get here!!! Love it or hate it tell me what you think. I miss my CS8 like crazy but I still get to see it and I know the new owner loves it as much as I did.

love it...bad ass color as well.

what did you pay for it if you dont mind me asking? I just looked at a used 2010 GT500 with 11,000 miles on it here in Richmond, TX last week and they wanted $52,000. I laughed at the guy. He couldnt tell me the difference in the 2010 and the 2011 so I knew he had no clue what he was trying to sell me.

Edit: nevermind, I found it on their website. $45,000? Not bad.

They came down further than that! I was fortunately able to do it all on my own without financing through them so it really put the ball in my court.

wish I would have found it before you...lol.

That is only about 45 minutes from my house, and much nicer and cheaper than the older one down here.

Very nice upgrade! Is it still a virgin and what are your plans?

It is still virgin! Won't be for long though. Not going to do much in the way of look because it has the SVTPP. I love the wheels and the local one I drove handles like a dream! I plan to lower it, install a SS hood, a host of JLT and TruFiber CF parts, and the Shelby/Recaro seats if I can find them from a dealer. They are not listed anywhere. Power wise full Whipple upgrade, kooks LT's, and Borla exhaust! 700 rwhp street care is good enough for me!

wish I would have found it before you...lol.

There are some mad deals down there in TX if your willing to be patient. Everything up here is retarded high and unwilling to budge. The color was a must for me. That was part of the reason it took so long to find.

+100987 i wish CT had the same deals with fords that texas has. For the amount i paid for my car i could have picked up at GT500 possibly new, or used with low miles. have had thoughts of recently selling mine and picking up an termi
