Plenty of us have been running 500+ rwhp for quite some time with a good tune. I've been two years with the Roush TVS. 530 rwhp. NMRA events, local test and tunes, brackets, road racing, daily driving, etc.

this guy is not just some backwoods person. Very reputable. He mainly does mustangs and he has tuned several Shelby's, terminators, and other mustangs. Many of them which are over 700-800whp and none have problems. The car didnt go kaboom within a week. It lasted a couple years and tons of track time.

I believe it was user error as to why it blew. I can't say for sure, but I think it was detonation on my end. I filled up one day with lower octane because I was just out doing errands and I wasnt going to be getting on it or anything..Well since it was just my weekend car, it sat all week in the garage. Well, I decided to go racing and forgot to put 93 back in. Still had a 1/4 tank. I forgot I put the lower octane in.

Now, Im not saying this is what happened, but Im pretty sure.

He did tune it with the previous owner...When I get the new engine, he will be tuning it as well. I don't blame the tune at all for the damage
