I think fdjizm explained it better than I did. It's the clamp bolt where the shaft slides into the teflon sleeve at the end of the universal joint. I can't photoshop an arrow into this picture, but it's the bolt facing towards you right in the middle of the picture.
If it only happened after you reinstalled it, my guess will be something didn't go back together right. Is the bolt at the plastic sleeve tight? Mine seemed sloppy and was loose there. Tightened it and it was fine.
Doesn't Dorman make it for Ford? I have an Exedy 500 and I'm pleased with it. I will say that mine grabs quick and required more force to press down on the clutch pedal.
No worries, I'm running 26x10.0-15 ET Drags right now and would like to switch to ET Streets. I'd like to switch to something a bit smaller since I don't really need that much tire.
Has anyone run a 26x10.5-15 ET Street on 15x10 rim. I've been told that they will fit, but aren't recommended for a 10" rim. How will this affect the contact patch?
Last time I raced I threw a random misfire code. I also have an MSD 2 step, but I can't confirm yet if the 2 step caused the code. Mine didn't pull any timing when the CEL came on and infact ran it's best time. I've been using the 2 step for years without any issues. I'll be swapping plugs soon...
When I spoke to Koni they suggested fronts at full soft and rears at 1/2-1 turn from full soft. I believe there is about 2.5 turns of movement. I have eibach drag springs.
That's what I thought too. Being a 9 second car makes it stand out more, but without pics under the hood it makes you go hmmm. Odd that he mentions gear ratio and axles, but no info on the turbo or who built the motor.
