    I am trying to get a straight answer. I have a new set of American Racing Headers , in 304 SS. I have heard arguments , that it isn't worth getting stainless heads ceramic coated. Ive read that they insolate heat better than mild steel tubes do. My primary consideration is keeping underhood...

    When considering ceramic coating on headers, does the color of the coating matter with regards to heat reduction in the engine compartment ? I have a choice of black, cast iron or silver.

    Im not so lucky. Im trying to figure out how to pass emissions with a Procharger and long tube headers. Again, my tuner is very knowledgeable, with tunes for power and safe usage. But he isn't that familiar with Ontario Drive Clean laws.

    I have read that ceramic coating headers with catalytic convertors can cause damage to the cats due to putting excess heat into them. Internet fallacy, or truth ?
