I searched on here and online and could not find the CJ spring rate; if anyone has the f/r spring rated please let me know, thanks!

I am talking about the normal ones, not the lowering ones.

Ford part number: M-5300-Q

Apparently these are just V6 springs.

I also found this over on corral....

On the standard CJ springs M-5300-Q, the fronts have the same part number as a premium GT and the rears have the same part number as the Bullitt springs. There was a lot of discussion a while back about if they were actually V6 springs and whether or not they had the same spring rates but were shorter. I put them on my car and it lower the rear 1/4" and the front dropped less than an 1/8". How much it lowers the car is dependent on which springs you had from the factory. There are AC, BC, CC & DC springs, the drop depends on which ones you started with. Some cars dropped an inch and some did not drop at all. Here is a link to a detailed discussion about it WWW.S197FORUM.COM <--Must be a member to view. People have tested these springs and they do work well, Cobra Jets run them too. I could cut 1.6x 60' with both the M-5300-Q & the M-5300-R springs. The only difference was the ride height on my old car.

I am curious what the drop is on the new M-5300-RA* springs, which are new for 2013.

I have heard and read the same thing that the CJ's were the same as the V6 but then I read they are not; I hope someone can list the actual spring rate.

I looked at them on AM's site and they said they are made by Eibach for Ford....?

Keep in mind, with a car that is front end heavy....springs with these types of rates really need a VERY good double-adjustable rear and atleast, at the minimum, a high quality single up front.....but with a 136 up front, I'd go DA.

Whats wrong with the lakewood 90/10 and 50/50 set up with these. I thought that was what GT-350 runs
