Hello everyone. I think this has been asked but I cannot find the right thread. I have a 2009 Mustang GT and I am wrapping up a manual swap. While that was going on I figured I might as well upgrade the brakes. I want to grab the brembo set up of the '13 or '14 GTs. Besides the calipers and spacers, what would i need to grab? Proportion Valve? Thanks!!!!

If you're going to use the 4 pot Brembo's up front (perfect fit for your year) do yourself a favor and get refurbished units for a 2008 GT500 at an auto parts store. Mine came with gloss black powder coat and only cost me ~$130 per side at the time. Bought OEM disks/brake pads/dust shields and after market steel braided brake lines F/R. Believe the whole setup was only around $400 - 450 at the time (4 yrs ago). Likely more now. I run stock GT brakes in the rear. Overall very pleased with the result.

Brembo swap is super easy.
Do I need anything other than the calipers, rotors, & pads? When I look at the RockAuto pic, the bracket appears to be part of the caliper. Is that correct?

I upgraded to the 11 - 14 rotors a couple years ago, but next time I might try the GT-500.

Not sure which bracket you are referring to?

But yes I got stock replacement GT flex lines, calipers, rotors, pads, and make sure you get caliper hardware as well. Couple pins and clips in there you gotta have to install the pads.

Something I learned awhile back by the way, get good low dust pads like PowerStop (that's what I am running) so you aren't fighting brake dust all over your wheels all the time.
