    Are you just trying to do the best you can on a street tire? An M&H or MT drag radial will help more than anything to improve your 60' times. Street tires tend to be exposed pretty quickly at the track. If you do the shocks, doing them front and rear is best.

    I give up, can't get EVAP to "ready" state

    The procedure shown by ixtlan (post above you) works. You have to drive steady for 10 miles or so and at the suggested speeds. I've used that procedure several times to set my EVAP. Use the "cold soak" method and do not turn the key off. If you do, just start the procedure over.

    Sorry man, another member just paid for it! Yes, get rid of that steel one - when I first went to an aluminum driveshaft with my 3650, I could tell the weight loss easily. Get an aluminum one at least, well worth it for a high hp car, I think.

    Thanks. Yeah it sucked! lol Single car incident with a guardrail. Airbag didn't even deploy. Guardrail caught the front of the car and bent it pretty good, though. Insurance totaled it instantly. Got all the drive train out and am selling that to help finance my next project.

    +1 on that - has to be J30R10 or it won't last in the fuel tank at all. I don't have the PTFE hose but have had the same fuel lines (Fragola Black Nylon hose) in since 2012 on E85 and no issues. I just cleaned the filter last week and it looked good.

    When I upped the power on my car (700ish to 875ish) I had to switch from ID1000's to ID1300's. If you're on E85, it just takes a lot of injector! I would have gone with ID2000's but I run 93 octane on occasion and was told those may have idle issues with 93 due to minimum pulsewidth requirements.

    It is all about cylinder pressure. When I bought my shortblock in 2011 I went with stock 9.8:1 CR for the 3v. If I were doing it over, I'd go at least 10.5:1 and maybe up to 11:1. ESPECIALLY if you're on E85.

    Actually, most 93 w/10% ethanol has a stoich closer to 14.10. If it's exactly E10, it's 14.08. 14.64 is an old number that's thrown around but not really accurate.
