8 wires? Lol, sounds like to took the long road to get the same as what we got in 3 wires. If you had any idea what you were doing you'd know you're in over your head. Dick up line pressures and it wipes out an already weak modular motor thrust bearing from converter push, then subsequently oil pump gears. Can you guess what comes after oil pump gears? So be careful when you max line pressures all willy nilly.
Have you also thought of the consequences of using the "maximum amount of clutches" available, if they don't all release at the EXACT same moment? It's never occurred to you why any other transbrake on the market only uses two circuits to operate? Guessing not. I'd head back to the drawing board.
If we can hold 600+ft/lbs, I'd say we have enough. My cute little box included the brake AND antilag,....and still less wiring than yours? Hmmmmmm
Dammit, I might have to make my brake available just to keep you from botching a whole lotta stuff up that belongs to people who buy into your "hype."

The wrench light we kept getting? Lmfao I gotta find the text where we used the vid w the light on purpose just to fuck with you and your buddies. You got played like a fiddle son. If we really didn't want anyone to know about the wrench light, Chris wouldn't have shot an inside video w it clear as day. Come on man, think.

If you guys knew half of what you thought you did, you might be dangerous.
You didn't just use the calibration for troubleshooting, or there would be no calibration info to hand out. Our brake doesn't need a calibration change. Hence one of the reasons I rented a 6cyl car. I have no xcal, or tuning capabilites for a 6cyl, yet was able to do it w no calibration changes. Just a small price to pay to show it's purely hardware and not tune related. Few steps ahead of ya :thumb2:
Can you imagine the headache when the calibration changes because the strategy changes from car to car or year to year? What about changes made to the templates that SCT ALWAYS changes for no rhyme or reason? That plays hell with tuners on a normal basis as is. Like the recent aircharge multiplier randomly changing a few weeks ago. Boy what a cluster that is going to be w a trans tune. Good luck though lol

Many assumptions. Many. Like I said, the only calibration changes we did were for troubleshooting. You know what the wrench light means? For those that don't, the trans is placed into a failsafe mode where 3rd and 5th are operational as the only forward options. When you deactivate a solenoid the PCM will detect this and throw a wrench light for the trans. How to overcome this? You disable said codes. Pretty simple process and why it took us roughly 1 day to nail this.

You claim to have solved this some time ago but only until recently did you stake the claim. More hype? Kinda' goes back to, "there is more to the story".

Only 2 solenoids at play in this situation. You know it, we know it. There is no need to care about what SCT does for their calibrations. Keep relying on those contacts for your tuning needs to keep you bumfuzzled with rexkwondo.

We didn't play into anything however we will offer this as a free contribution. No need to buy your box of parts. :chainsaw:

There's no assumption, none. Those were HIS words. Might want to talk to him. You're trolling in circles again.
I'll give the schematic and the calibration info to everyone

Yes you hacked it. And anyone who will do it like you guys will need to change the CALIBRATION to ignore the code. That's how I thought to first do it, too. But it's half assed and knew it could be done correctly.

That claim was staked weeks ago. You didn't want to believe then even when seeing the car leave on it. Then you needed to see it at the track. Someone happened to he there to catch him this time and now you whine about his 60ft this first time it hooked lol. We've got video. With all your constant blathering about hype and no substance, here you are merely talking about it. Text book hypocrite.

Well, there's kind of a reason it matters w SCT. Since almost everyone uses it. If you have to change the calibration, that means every single person needs to copy their tune to the new base. If their is an update and the customer gets an update, that's how templates get changed. Thought you understood this tuning thing?

Like I said have at it robinhood lol

Is it ok if we ask for the timeslip? I was curious what the car 60'.

Is it a legitimate question, or is there going to be 2 pages of this and that. I was just curious why it wasn't posted.

There was just no reason to post it. Nothing stellar about it. First time it hooked and someone happened to be recording.

I was curious on the 60', since I hadn't seen it posted. I saw kens car was doing 1.51/1.52's on the 19's foot braking.

I would assume coming out at 4 psi on slicks, the car would 60' a little better than that.

Elissa car is foot braking to 1.31's, I've been 1.39's on the centri with no boost. Granted more power, but still foot braking.

Granted A LOT more power lol. Lots of people have 60 footed better. Lots of them have very loose stalls that were sent back 4 times and would probably perform poorly if not the 80's lock up feature. But the cars wheelie antics aren't helping anything. Everything was unknown til those passes. It never hooked before. Brakes aren't magic. He has work to do. His previous foot brake 60 was 1.56(?) when he could only stall to 2700.

I dunno, but cars are flying now that they have it.

The fastest 6R80 car to date, happens to be a CPR turbo car, fwiw. 8.40s@160+

I heard guys were upgrading rear brakes to help the transbrakes (6R80) hold better also.

In drag racing, a transbrake is a mechanism that selectively places the transmission in first and reverse gears simultaneously, effectively holding the race car stationary as if the foot brake was applied. The transbrake is activated by the driver by applying electrical current to a solenoid at the transmission

I know what a transbrake is. I also can only repeat what I read. The transbrake is not holding, cars are creeping, and guys are using better brakes to hold the car still on the line.
