Need advice on resolving low-beams issue

Yea the original owner had in incandescent bulbs for everything in the front, I replaced all the bulbs with New SEALIGHT H13 H10 LED Light Bulbs and it made a huge difference at night, especially the turn signals pretty bright. I tried seeing if my lowbeams worked then, but still nothing, I...

Need advice on resolving low-beams issue

Hey all, I need some advice on figuring out a little issue Problem is my low-beams don't turn on, my high-beams on the other hand do as well as my fog lights. I noticed it when i first bought the car, but didn't really care about it, but now I'm at the point in my cars build where I don't plan...

    MUSTANG o2 Sensor PLEASE HELP

Oh yeah, these guys down here in Miami — Perez Autoworks — were the ones I originally went to. I gave them the benefit of the doubt when they told me the issue was with my PCM. I trusted them at the time, and I think they quoted me around $300 for the diagnosis. But looking back, there were...

    MUSTANG o2 Sensor PLEASE HELP

I've been dealing with an ongoing issue related to the Bank 1 Sensor 1 O2 sensor (upstream, passenger side) on my 2005 Mustang GT. I keep getting a P0135 code, which I believe is causing the engine to run rich. On cold starts, the car runs rough for about a minute, then smooths out, but the...

PCM replacement experience with Pro Tech Auto Systems

Final Verdict: I received my refund this morning, but I still wouldn't recommend Pro-Tech Auto Systems for a PCM replacement on this Mustang. The lack of communication, broken promises, and delays made the experience frustrating. For nearly $1,000, the customer service should've been much...

And they DO have my contact information available to them anytime. I even checked my spam on my Gmail, just in-case Gmail was counting them as "Phishing" or "spam"

PCM replacement experience with Pro Tech Auto Systems

I called again today, about an hour and a half after my previous call, and they finally told me the refund should hit my bank account by this Thursday. I really hope that's true because, honestly, it felt like they didn't care about me as a customer. I was the one who had to keep reaching out...

PCM replacement experience with Pro Tech Auto Systems

Honestly, this is one of the things I hate most about owning an old car—or any old car, really. Some reliable OEM parts just aren't made for them anymore, and tracking them down is a pain in the ass. Finding a decent PCM in my case has been especially frustrating.

PCM replacement experience with Pro Tech Auto Systems

I called them today, and they confirmed they received the unit they sent me. They mentioned they'll call me back in about 30 minutes since they're currently processing six other returns that just came in as well. Looks like I wasn't the only one having issues... which isn't exactly a good sign...

PCM replacement experience with Pro Tech Auto Systems

Yeah, from what I've seen on Google reviews, they seem to be pretty well-respected in the Mustang community here in Miami. I've actually been meaning to check them out for a while now, but I kept putting it off since it's about an hour drive. After everything I've gone through with this PCM...

PCM replacement experience with Pro Tech Auto Systems

Called Pro-Tech first thing in the morning and asked for a refund — they said "no problem." I grabbed the original box the PCM came in, wrote all the required return info on a slip of paper, taped it to the box, and shipped it out. Cost me about $16 at the post office to send it back with...

PCM replacement experience with Pro Tech Auto Systems

Update: 6/12/25 Today I finally received the PCM I ordered and was eager to wrap up this long-standing issue with my 2005 Mustang GT. I immediately called a mobile auto locksmith, who was able to program 2 out of my 4 keys to the new PCM without a problem. I held onto the other 2 keys just in...

PCM replacement experience with Pro Tech Auto Systems

Alright I just ordered my PCM replacement, everything went smoothly on the call with Steve who got my order in, the PCM is already preprogrammed, and comes with 2 keys, the guy told me, all I have to do is take the keys to a locksmith and everything should be plug and play after that. In total...

    Curious about swapping a 5.4 4v into a 2005 mustang GT

Yea, but maybe its because its also missing the supercharger, it looks like its just the block and heads and some front accessories. But obviously I'd probably get brand new parts for a refresh. like a pulley set and a new harmonic balancer from steeda.

    Curious about swapping a 5.4 4v into a 2005 mustang GT

I was scrolling through facebook market and found this motor from a shelby gt500 5.4L 4v with a twin turbo setup. Was wondering what kind of process would be needed to do a swap like this? What to do for the Pcm/ecu, what wiring harness to use, needing to make clearance in the engine bay in...

Anyone Have Experience with Flagship One for PCM Replacement? Need Advice Before I Commit

This is the only code that keeps appearing, even after replacing the O2 sensor twice with different brands each time. The shop claims the issue is due to a faulty PCM, which is one of the reasons I've been searching for a replacement. I'll probably take it to a Mustang-specialized shop like MAK...

It seems they don't offer any repairs for my year model. Unless you're talking about a personalized quote I see on their website:

Anyone Have Experience with Flagship One for PCM Replacement? Need Advice Before I Commit

I've seen posts about them here and the mostly positive reviews on Trustpilot, but I'm feeling a bit suspicious about it. I just want to make sure I don't get scammed out of $600–$1,000, you know? But ill definitely check out those other companies you mentioned.

Has Anyone Tried the MMR Billet Chain Guides for a 4.6L 3V Timing Rebuild?

When installing the oil pump, I partially filled it through the opening where the oil pickup tube bolts on and manually rotated the gear that slides onto the crankshaft until I saw oil flow out from the other side. This was just to make sure it was lubricated beforehand before installing it.

Anyone Have Experience with Flagship One for PCM Replacement? Need Advice Before I Commit

Hello everyone, I recently finished a timing rebuild on my 2005 Mustang GT, and after some diagnostics, I discovered that my PCM is bad and needs replacing. I actually knew about the PCM issue before starting the timing rebuild, but I decided to focus on the engine first, thinking it was a more...

    PCM repair recomendation please

I'm also looking to replace my PCM since I've been dealing with electrical issues for a while now. They only started showing up recently, even though I've had the car for about a year. I'm experiencing some of the same symptoms as you, such as the AC compressor cycling on and off repeatedly when...

Has Anyone Tried the MMR Billet Chain Guides for a 4.6L 3V Timing Rebuild?

Yeah, I made sure to prime it first. I removed the fuel pump relay and cranked the engine three times for 5–6 seconds each, with short breaks in between. After that, I started her up for real. Today, I took her out for a 3–4 mile drive, letting the temps rise while staying under 3,000 RPM. Once...
