My truck pulls harder and runs faster the higher I rev it.My rev limiter is set as high as it can go 7500 but I need more.the GT is set at 8000 and the boss 8500. Ive been told the crank trigger from a Boss will raise my limiter with tuning.does anyone know anything about this?

Im having trouble hitting the rev limiter at 7000 but my tuner says its set at 7800 the tach says 7000 but a data log says 7600. I bought a ford racing tach that goes to 10,000 and it also shows 7000.can it be turned off completely?
