05-09 Complete Conversion to 11-14

Hello, I am new to the forums. I have started a project to change the interior and drivetrain of my 06 GT to that of a 14 GT. I am in the process of gutting the interior and had a couple questions about wiring harnesses for the 11-14 GTs. I bought a body harness off of marketplace but unfortunately it was cut and missing about half the harness, so I pulled a complete harness from a 2012 v6 convertible. I cut it at the firewall with the intent of resoldering it later. Which brings me to my question. A 5.0 with a manual transmission will eventually be swapped in so I was wondering what the differences were between a manual/automatic and a v6/GT body wiring harness. Do I source a harness from a manual GT? Can the v6 convertible harness work or does it need to be modified? If it needs to be modified, what specifically needs to be changed?

I’m not qualified to answer this but if it were me I would get a complete harness from a car that was as close to the set up that you will be using.

Better still, look for a totalled 11-14 GT in an online auction such as Copart. Then you'll have ALL the parts you'd need to complete the project without having to cherry pick them piecemeal.

I already have all the interior trim panels including the dash. The only parts I am missing are the engine and transmission. I have ripped the majority of everything I need from junkyard cars.
