Does anybody know if an 07+ alternator bracket is different than an 06? I know the coolant crossovers are different

I just thought about this, but you might look up the part numbers and diagrams and see if anything stands out.

2005-2009 have the exact same alternator. A Motorcraft 6G. They are junk.

In 2010 Ford switched to a Denso unit. Much better. The 2010 Denso units will fit the 2005-2009 cars.

I have an '06, when I switched to the +'07 crossover tube
I had to grind the corner of the '06 bracket near the T-stat
and drill a new mounting hole in it and made a small spacer
to work with '07 tube.

I think he's more referring to how the bracket mounts to the engine, not to the alternator.
