Howdy.
So it was dyno day at the local tech school.
And a few of us decided to go.

They don't print, you just take a picture of the screen.
It's a mustang dyno.

They don't measure a/f ratios.
And you only get one pull.

I'll attach my screenshot.

NOW I KNOW I LIVE UP IN THE DESERT WITH CRAP GAS....

But

287/258

With...
Hot Rod cams
Jba long tubes
Off road mid pipe
SSS adrenaline mufflers
CMDP
Dup
Jlt III cai
4.10s
And a 91 Bama tune
And it's a manual

Doesn't torque seem a bit off?

There was a stock 07 GT there.
He put down 279/283

Also a stock 2013 v6
He put 239/238

I'm not doing much better in the torque department and I've outmodded them both.

For the record, my stock run, also here.
Was 241/253
Through an auto.

Without a/f ratios it's hard to really pinpoint.
But doesn't this seem a bit off?

That seems low for the mods compared to what everyone was listing elsewhere.

I know gears and tires/wheels affect.
But these aren't outrageously bigger tires.

Like initial post stated.
Not chasing numbers, But I looked bad compared to the stock 07.

I only have common bolt ons, so never got a wideband.

So I logged with my x4

Stft b2
Idle
.94-1.04 min/max

Light throttle/cruising
.97-1.02 min/max

Stft bank 1 idle
.94-1.05 min/max

Cruising
.94-1.03

A little lower usually than bank 2 but 7/10 is on par

Now WOT
Bank 2
1.00-1.03

Bank 1
.98-1.04

Spark timing
Idle
21-23 degrees

Cruising

41-43 degrees

Wot
17-19 degrees

Not the best logging as I didn't use live link to get more readings.

Also to note when I did my logging
69 degrees
Average IAT
82 moving
116 idle

If anyone has any ideas please do chime in.

I'd be more than willing to build a live link data log for review

I'm hoping it's just because I'm using an AM tune.

Talked to a guy, said I needed to talk to lito "3v whisperer' he called him.
Bolt one or no, he said lito should have done my tuning.
I just figured lito would do my FI tune.
But I may be returning now.

Also to note, no oil leaks, no loss of oil at 4k changes

I did a test at 5k full synthetic
5-20
Down 1.5 quarts
5-30
No loss aside from the bit not recovered.

So she's not burning or leaking oil.
No ticking in the valvetrain.
Phasers and timing chains are good.

I never once gave it thought until I got dyno'd

It ran fine, idled well.
And yes every mod felt a bit different.
Granted the biggest change in SOTP was manual swapping.

Sorry for being long winded.
But this is as much non specific info I have at the moment.

You need a wideband to get wot/open loop a/f. The fuel trim readings are only good for closed loop. The wot spark advance is low. A stock 4.6 with Hot Rods usually sees max safe hp around 30-33 degrees. At least the ones I've seen on a dyno.

Was the pull weather corrected? It makes a difference especially with a high altitude. I'd suggest contacting lito on this forum (Manuel at www.tudyno.com ) for a tune more suited to your mods.

With all of that said don't get too hung up on dyno numbers. They vary from day to day and dyno to dyno. Yours do seem a little low though.

Yeah it drives great.
RTs, brand new 3.7s, stock ecoboosts.
I hold quite well against quite a few "better cars"

I'm running 13.9 here on crap sumitomos.

Air density reads 7100-7300 depending on the day.

But yes, I agree something is a little off.
When a stock car busts me on torque and isn't far on HP.

I was never worried about numbers.
I'd planned my NA build and went to work.

Haha danged dyno day.

I'm going to try and get a hold of him.
Even for my NA build I've heard he does wonders.

Yes it's corrected.
Uncorrected was 253 or something.
I didn't pay much attention until the corrections finished.

Local stock trans am
Put 304/314 or so.
So everyone seemed within range...but me.
