Now I recognize your car after watching the video again! Cabuzzi... I used to watch vids of your swap on YouTube when I had my v6 back in the day. You had a built v6 and swapped in a v8 from a F-150 right?

Way to stick with the build brotha!

Anytime. You live in Colorado?

Yup, that was me. The V6 was "built" with heads and cams only. Wasn't much you could do to the bottom end at the time. Now they have everything available for it (rods were the major weakness back then). "Nice Pony" on the Mustang Collective is doing a 4.0L build with all the right stuff. It's been going on for a few years, but he's been real meticulous about it. Last I heard he was trying to find a good tuner (Lito?).

His build thread is a pretty good read, if you have the time.

Hbd. Thats one bad nitch! What intake manifold are you running?
Custom JPC intake. They can make a 5.4L 3v intake from their 4.6L one pretty easily.

What kinda timing are you running with 21lbs on E85?

Congratz!
I believe the timing was dropped to 21* for the higher boost runs.

interesting. i didnt know they did that. im assuming youre running an iron block as well?
Yup. I don't mind the extra weight.

What size turbos? Any more info on them?
Sounds bad ass. Nice numbers at that pressure.
Hard to beat that for a birthday present

They're 61mm compressors with .63AR housings. Ball-bearing/water cooled.

I'm sure I'm pretty near the limit on them. I do have the bigger AR exhaust housings, but I didn't like the lag on the street with them. If it were a track-only car, I'd probably have left them on and used a WOT box to pre-spool them.

I really don't know where I'll go with the car from here. I want to run great times at the track, but I want my kids to be able to ride in the back around town. I will only go so fast at the track as to not make it a usable street car (as in, keep the back seats, no spool, etc...).

Yea arabbit lives right next to the south gate of AFA. He's lame and doesn't get out much :boobies:
Hahah, we're all a little lame.

Let's get together sometime. There is that "Colorado" thread, but seems the OP doesn't live too close to the Springs. Would be nice to have "groups" on the board that we could be members of. If you wanted a get together, you could send a PM to that "group", and they'd be guaranteed to see the message (vs starting a thread). Hell, that feature could already be there and I'd probably never know it.

Ahh, ok. Sorry I didn't make the connection.

We should all definitely meet up. Ksack was talking about a car show in April. I told him to count me in.
