Sharad are you running coil overs up front? I know that would up your clearance a bit over a standard spring shock combo? Griggs Sells some 18x10.5 that fit a square setup. You could run a 305/315 tire on those front and rear. That's probably the best option without trying to really squeeze that extra half inch also you keep the rotation because the offset is the same.

Air Lift bags.

Love the car Sharad!

For the record thats cause you have 19's. I have 10.5s up front and have loads of room inboard. Easily fit a 11 without touching a thing. The 20's clear over that bolt.
a 20x10.5 +40 clears everything except with the Brembo calipers on it hit those :/

The 20x11 hit the stud when I did a quick test fit in oct/nov area when I swapped to the greens for winter. In the spring, I will be sending my new tires to a friend's shop. Will likely try fitment up front with 305/30's with either spacer, grinding the stud, or both.

Now you guys have me curious about the sway bar stud. I'll swap one of the 20x11s to the front the next time I have the car off the ground and I'll snap some pics back behind the wheel to show the clearance.

I thought it was funny is all, didn't really expect you to be butthurt about it.

My reasonably priced 18"x11" Forgestars are wrapped in Rivals. I run them all the time because I would rather buy two sets of decent tires in a season than one set of place holders and have to mount and unmount tires to go to a trackday.

My Formula43s on the 65 Mustang are wrapped in Rivals as well. My truck has Bridgestones, the diesel truck has goodyears, the sonic is currently wearing Blizzaks, the Roadster is on equally craptastic BFG KDWs, the 71 Camaro is on walmart tires, I think. I should prolly sell all my cars and buy a set of Forgelines.

Like I said, the car looks good, the whole world knows that INVOs are average tires at best, I LOLed because in my mind a set of wheels that retails over 6K should have some decent rubber on it......even if you cost was under 4K.

I'm not at all butthurt. If I had some craptastic forgestars, I could afford a new set of tires every month! See what I did there?

Seriously though, I see that you're ballin' hard with 18 vehicles on pimp daddy tires. I'm not ballin' on your level, but even though I could afford one set of R888s now and another set in May, that makes no sense to me. It doesn't bother me at all to run the Invos for three months. I guess I am getting a little more frugal in my old age. I've never been afraid to spend big money, but I don't waste it either.

To each his own. The car does sweet powerslides on the INVOs. ;)

Hmmm I wonder what the offset strut on the cortex coil overs would do to the offset of an 11in wheel.

Is the air bag setup you're running similar in size to the stock spring/strut setup? Or is it a smaller diameter? Im guessing that in order for an 11" to work up front, you would need at least a coilover setup? Or do you think it would still work with a spring/strut setup?

Maybe It all depends on the strut/coilover settup your running. With my BC's its no where close.

Either way, the bag or spring setup is above the tread of the tire. The only difference would be the OD of the strut body where the sidewall of the tire passes by. Fwiw, I'm planning to put the car on stands tomorrow. I'll snap some pics then.

Gotcha, yeah that makes sense. I was about to order an 11" wheel today to get it in for test fitting. Its a 20x11" +50, so I wanted to see what kind of clearance I had with my spring/strut setup. I run a machine shop, so if I need to machine a bit more offset into the wheel, I can easily do that. That way I can make it an exact offset to dial it in perfectly. Ill keep an eye out for the pictures though, curious to see what that 20x11 +53 looks like in there.

You could run an 18x11 +50 with Cortex offset struts. May need tiny spacers depending on tire size.
