I am looking into new wheels that will be mostly dedicated to track days, right now I am thinking about a set of Team Dynamics in 18X10. Blowfish racing offers them, Offset: +45mm, Backspacing: 7.27, Weight: 24lbs. wondering if anyone has had them on their car and how they liked them?

24lbs still isn't light - I think my AMR 18x10's are in that range and they were under $400 shipped. Forgestar is a great option if you are willing to spend that much. They do have quite a long wait but I believe Vorshlag has a set of gunmetal 18x11's ready to go from a cancelled order.

It will probably be a couple months before I make it back to the track so I'm not to worried about a wait time. I just know I want a dedicated set of wheels and tires for the road course and I'm trying to feel out what other people have done / experienced so I can make a educated decision the 18X11 are very tempting i have to admit but idk if i really want to go that wide up front.

IIRC, the AMR 18x10 are 27lbs. I grabbed mine while on sale--could not pass up 18x10 wheels that fit over Brembos for $375 shipped for the set!

24 lbs. is a bit more reasonable. Interesting to note that they also clear the 2013-2014 15" 6-piston GT-500 brakes according to the Blowfish site ... they aren't a bunch of 18" wheels that do.

How much are these TD wheels compared to something like Enkei?

cheers

I've run the D-force 18x10s and currently run Forgestar 18x11s. I liked the 18x10s as it allowed me to rotate the wheels, but for 1-2 pounds more I've got the 11s and really like them. The 11's just fit bigger tires and thats what these cars like. The 18" Forgestar CF5s fit over 6 piston calipers due to a different barrel design then the F14.

All are nice and light:
D-force 19lbs
F14 18x10 20lbs
F14 18x11 22lbs
CF5 18x10 21lbs
CF5 18x11 22lbs

yes and no, if the car is'int lowered much you dont need camber plates. I've got camber plates but run very little camber on the street, with the 11s on. (the equivalent of no plates) If you are lowered more than most mustangs its required.

If your doing track events, you will benefit greatly having camber plates to maximize tire contact patch of the bigger tires you would be running with 11s. (same goes for 10s for that matter)

If you dont have camber plates, than you can run the 10s no issues.
