I posted this in the IMBOC (Bullitt) Forum, since I have a 2008 Dark Heritage Green Bullitt Mustang; thought I would post it here too:
Title pretty much says it all. I haven't done ANY measurements yet, I'm just "arm-chairing" it; my idea is to retrofit one of these two, then install self-adhesive small engine-turned vinyl for the center section to match the dash:
1965 - 1968 Mustang Fastback Overhead Console with Insert, ABS, Made in the USA
Or this, depending on the length differential:
1965 - 1968 Mustang Coupe Overhead Console with Insert, ABS, Made in the USA
Here is the vinyl wrap I would use:
Encore® EFX21 Silver Small Engine Turn Adhesive Vinyl
I'm thinking that if the roof contour is reasonably close, one of these consoles respective upper lips could be shaved to make a better fit. Thoughts?
