55.8 pounds is the weght of a wheel with a tire mounted, not just the wheel.

His 16x7" '95 Mustang wheels, and his Hoosier slicks weigh in at 26.4 total each side. Which is 52.8 total for 2 wheels and 2 tires. Why is that so hard to comprehend?

That is nearly 60 lbs lighter (total) than running the stock 19's.

It's not as hard for me to comprehend as it is hard to believe, since the lightest 16" Hoosier drag slick I can find on their site (size 28.0/10.0-16) weighs 23 pounds EACH...so...the wheels would have to weigh 3.4 pounds each. (26.4 - 23 = 3.4)

Maybe I'm really dumb or forgetful, but I can't remember '95 16x7 Mustang wheels weighing 3.4 pounds.
