Looking to get a little wider in the front; any suggestions on brands or does everyone just cut and weld?

That looks fantastic... I would love to find someone near me that I would trust to do that work. I would be a little skeptical about both sides being perfectly matched.

lol rear rear 7mm? rear and rear haha
I asked about 2in fronts...

What about rivet-on universal flares? Anyone try them?

edit: Memphis, gave them a call and while unsure about 2012 flares or over the 1.5in advertised they seemed open to custom stuff, plus they are 30min from me! Their fiberglass specialist will be calling me back.

Please post what you find. Not that I need any other excuses to spend money on this thing!

DAMN I bet those looked good once everything was leveled out and painted.

Yep, they can, and will. :)

Looks like the cat is out of the bag already... but my red Mustang is going back to Heritage in a week to get the fronts done. And he's making molds to make both front and rear flares in composite, or so I've been told.

The front flares Heritage is going to make for us will be a bit "toned down" on the leading edge to what we have now, but possibly a little more radical on the trailing edges, something like...

I don't know yet, we're still discussing the details. I will keep you updated on the progress....

Sigh. Every time I think I might be close to being done tinkering with my car, I take a look at the Red Vorshlag Pinup of a mustang... Oh well, its only money. Cant wait to see the final product.

Hmm... Maybe I need to 3d laser scan my OEM fenders, CAD, and manufacture some model-specific flares that can be riveted on.

Wow great idea. You're cool.

If you want something made or a set of these, pm me. These are 2.25" front flares

I would buy those front fenders as a complete piece Terry. I hope you can bring them to market.

they look awesome

these are quite expensive, if they were pre painted that would be more acceptable

Those aren't that expensive if you really get down to it. That isn't just a flare. It's an overlay for the quarter panel starting at the body line. If I still had my 05 is probably be looking at these in the very near future. My biggest issue with them is you would need new wheels or a huge spacer to be flush with it. Ideally wider wheels but you're talking $$$$ to fill the wheel well up and be flush in the back

Woah, super cool. can you keep the flare going down in front of the wheel? I.e. something that mounts on the bumper to deflect air around the front of the tire. edit: i'm looking forward to what you do
