I have recently got rid of my F1 procharger and I am going with a TS. I was up in the air w/ a KB or whipple but settled for the 2.3L. A 2.8H Mammoth would be nice but...I guess the 2.3L would be more efficient for my purposes. My questions to all the TS guys out there is what parts do I need to complete the setup. I don't know if I will buy this as a kit from say like Lethalperformance but I might just piece it together over the next few months when I find parts here and there.

The car is ready for all the pwr upgrades i.e. injectors, complete return fuel system. Remember the car had an F1 on it to start so I just need everything it takes to make a whipple work for that type of setup. things like the coolant tank, heat exchanger, hoses, pulleys, brackets.

Off the top of my head: Blower w/ bypass valve, brass fittings (2) for the intercooler system hoses to go into the Blower (only needed if the blower was from a Non-IC kit), intercooler (might need O-rings if the blower was from a Non-IC kit), lower intake, IC tank, heat exchanger, misc hoses for IC system, electric water pump, misc wires for said pump w/ relay, pulley & adj bracket that mounts just below the snout, belt, water cross-over for which ever year motor you have, engine coolant hoses, and T-stat... I think that about covers it.

Link to a few pics of the install of the Non-IC kit. ..don't believe I ever put up pics from when I upgraded to the IC kit, but I have them laying around some where if you need them.

I also have the installation manual I can email you if you'd like.

Tousley Ford will have your best price, if you buy new, the whipple kit is 100% complete with GT500 pumps. Great kit. Alot of used ones popping up, can't go wrong there either.

well if I were you id definitley try to go the piece it together route...if you have the time.

Theres lots of little upgrades you can do and since you are buying it piece by piece, you can have the best of everything. Though...what boost level are you going for? stock block?

I think piecing it together would be tedious and not all that much cheaper. For one thing, your injectors won't work, they will be too tall for the manifold.

If you have to buy individual parts from Whipple, beware that their prices are stupid-high. I needed 4 coupling nuts, that I couldn't find locally at all....$24.

The aluminum manifold from them, separate from a kit, is $700.

I appreciate the heads up on parts, and yes if you could send me the install manual that'd be great. thanks

If I were to buy a kit from anywhere brand new, it would be only a tuner kit. I have two GSS342 Walbro pumps on a return system already.

Looking to max out the boost level, not a stock blk. same block you have in your garage w/ some ported heads and the whole nine.

What injector type do I need for the whipple? I have FORE rails. I'm going to try and stay away from buying directly from whipple for parts, just seeing how much of a headache it will be to piece it.

Tousley has the tuner kits in stock. I know this cause I asked the other day when I was delivering some parts to them for work.
