Jesus. I just bought my wife a 23,000$ Scion TC fully loaded. Would have MUCH rather had a CTS-V. We were looking too! Only benefit is the Scion has a lifetime warranty on EVERYTHING. GLWS!! BEAUTIFUL CAR!

Not to derail your thread, but I've always had an interest in these cars. One of my friends recently purchased an '06 CTS-V.

How much, relative to Mustang's, do parts run for these cars for modding? More expensive? Cams, clutch, etc. You have a very clean car and if it were silver I'd try to get it myself. I'm done with black cars.

Thanks!

Sounds like an awesome car man, it's really time for me to get into a Terminator though...I've waited long enough

Come on black looks good! I bought this car off my buddy who did all the mods to it. He said the Axle back was $900, headers $1200, he made the custom x pipe ect. It all depends on what brands. Since my car is an ls6, basically buying any part is a corvette part. This motor only needs a "cam" since it's a pushrod so definitely cheaper than a modular motor and a cam really wakes these motors up!

04-05 was a 5.7 LS6 from a C5 Z06, 400hp/400trq. 06-07 was an LS2 6.0 from a c6 vette but also rated 400/400. I personally like the LS6 better and the respond better from mods. With just a cam and nothing else with my mods puts around 430-440 rwhp with a good tune.

Two questions for you... First, what the hell kind of motor is in the black mustang :)56 seconds on the video)? First time I watched it I thought he had a deer or something strapped to the hood. Second, why is that guys foot hanging out the window...?

lol that's my buddy Christian's cobra. It's a 97 cobra but he blew the motor so he swapped it with a 2004 Navigator 5.4 4V. We literally just got the car running so it had no hood. He planned on building up a 5.4 but sold the car. And by buddy with his foot out the window...I couldn't tell you lol. I guess his feet were warm lol.
