2005 Mustang GT Positive Battery Terminal Cable Clamp Repair Option

Thought that I should post this up...

That POS Ford Positive Battery Terminal Cable Clamp broke a while back and I wanted to repair it before I sell the Car. As you already know... The Dealership wanted $130 for the entire assembly, let alone having to install it. And they said that you cannot buy JUST the terminal fitting. Great.

I know... Just relocate the battery to the trunk or just spend $3 on a basic clamp.

Well, I persevered and found this on EBay...

Almost a perfect fit with minimal modification. Bend the cable clamp and rotate. Maybe cut the additional attachment point? Your call.

$130?! i spent half of that, and upgraded terminals, and cables to 1 gauge!!

$23 for a new cable from rockauto.com I never would of thought that Ford sold a terminal. Good info.
