What sort of benefit does this give? Direct swap?

I believe the 13/14 GT500 master cylinder has a different size piston and moves more fluid. It is a direct bolt in. I don't have one so I can't tell you first hand how pedal feel and clutch engagement is improved. But others that have installed one swear by it.

OP - did you ever get things sorted out???

I have one in my 07 gt and I can tell you that the engagement point moved towards the top of the pedal. Otherwise it doesnt feel that different.
