I've got a 2007 4.0 with the seemingly random overheating issue. With the help of this forum and other resources, I have found a couple of burned pin receptacles in the wiring harness connector below the fan relays. I intend to replace the receptacles but I was considering upsizing the wire from the harness connector to the fan assembly. Has anyone done either of these? The connector block looks pretty bad in those areas as well. Does anyone sell a replacement?

Here is a link for larger gauge wire setup:

So far, I have only overheated once. My car has 203K miles on it, so I am replacing the fan that caused the problem. It is likely on it's last leg anyways. If the fuse box and plug are melted, that would be step two using the above kit. Not cheap, but less than one months' worth of new car payments.
