Need to find a source for the plastic bushings in the clutch pedal. Not a serviceable part to Ford. They want you to buy a complete pedal assembly.

These are the same as the brake for the 5 spd and AOD but again neither assembly is serviceable to Ford.

Look thru McMaster-Carr and Grainger websites. They should have generic bushings that fits. You will need the measurements.

I just bought coil-over spring bearings for $12 from Grainger. Eibach wants $44 for the exact same thing.

This is just an example. Industrial parts places have a ton of stuff that most people don't know about.

Depending on stocking levels at your local parts store. In the "Help" section they might sell a generic set of snap in style bushings. Only a few bucks to see if they have something that works.

You ca also message me your VIN and I ca check with my parts guys here.

Get me dimensions and I will make you a few out of oilite that will outlast the rest of the car. OR better yet send me your part, if it's intact enough to measure, AND bore and shaft dims.

That is one hell of an offer.

This is something useful to remember for the rest of us, so we can find dimensions, or have better replacement parts made.

Any update to this? My bushing is worn out and I see these aluminum pieces on Amazon… anyone use? Is it not metal on metal?
