2010 Mirrors and rocker panels

Does anyone know if both of these parts are a direct bolt-on to the 05-09 Mustangs? I want to install them for no other reason than I think they're an improvement in appearance. So, I figured the thread belonged here.

Not sure about the rockers. Shouldn't be too much different but may require some fab work for a perfect fit. the mirrors will work, but do a search for someone here that did the install. Something about a clip or a wire for the motor is different. But other than that one small detail, they should work fine.

The mirrors will fit, but require drilling new hole (can't remember if it is more than 1) for mounting. Several write-ups on TMS with more details. But Ford got smart pretty quick after people started retro-fitting them and jacked up the price.

No surprise there. Maybe one day these domestic auto makers will figure out that one of the perks of buying their cars is the cheaper price for parts verses foreign. They're all but killing this by pulling this crap on people who want to buy their products. I guess the aftermarket will have to step up on another part while Ford will be left wondering why their shelves are full of parts they can't move.
