One quart between oil changes is no big deal. Just check your fluids and your battery cables for corrosion and tight. before u go

And this. One thing this engine like is to be run hard to break in. Being that it was more than likely not abused at all, I suggest driving the crap out of it for a while and see if the oil consumption decreases. I have 28,500 miles on mine and it uses less than half a quart between my 5,000 mile changes.

Ill do that. I really only drive the car on wkends now. Its still babied pretty much. Maybe 2 6500 rpm runs per week.
