Ive only dealt with the ford customer care rep James and Deysha. James is the rep for the Texas region. Ive been looking for numbers or emails but i cant find shit. I asked if i could talk to the engineer that said this shit is normal and i was told no.

They have a boss too. You need to bypass them and talk to a higher up.

OP: How has the oil consumption been since Ford changed the oil? Do you know how much was consumed during the 500 mile test?

It was down about 1.5 quarts during the test. Since I got the car back I have no idea. I will check it tonight though and report back.

I'm past the point of caring. I will leave it stock and if it blows it blows.

The problem is it isnt going to blow

Your going to just scar the cylinder so deep you cant bore it

If ford replaces it thats awesome, if not your going to need a new block if you keep running it

I personaly didmt wanna gamble and have them say no, i truly hope yoir car wasnt tuned

My car has 8400 miles and has yet to use any oil and yet Ford claims it's supposed to. Your engine is fucked up and hopefully somebody at Ford will figure that out.

leakdown tests shows good cylinder psi. Why hasn't anyone considered valve guides/seals?

So the dealer overfilled it for the test. I wonder how much of that oil went right through the pcv and coated the intake manifold. That doesn't make sense at all.

If I understand the progress of events you are down a little over .5 quart since the test was completed and that's been less than 200 miles. Do I have that right?

Yea, I don't know if anyone remembers but the 4v's that came in the sn mach 1's had very bad valve seal problems. They would burn a good bit of oil and had to be replaced.
