I would be rather apprehensive about running your car on that narrow, potholed track. Seen too many cars in the guardrail there.

It is bad..I plan to go and help couple buddies..if I make back in time from SA.

Samsung Galaxy 2-better then your iPhone..

Situation was he was stuck, had a BBR tune, we were at the track, it wouldn't even idle right. He had things like a CAI where he couldn't go back to a stock tune. That's right, an NA car with next to nothing for boltons and it wouldn't idle, surging up and down constantly, even though nothing needed to be changed in the tune from stock regarding idle, all of that should have been left alone. So I fixed it at the track for him. The fact that it ran faster than ever on the next pass was just a side effect of that. Not the first nor the last person I helped out with a tune at the track when they needed one to square their car away, never tried to charge anyone anything for it either, that's the way I came up racing when I was young, my competitors and I always helped each other out. Maybe you should come hang out at the track.

Don't even get him started on the way BBR jerked him around on the hood with the shipping charges and lying about it repeatedly, while he was deployed.

It's impressive our slower Texas tracks are still producing some good numbers for a bolt on car. .15 faster if in the NE haha

A low 11 second bolt on car is crazy. What are the next plans?

Texas Mile next week for the white car. Are you going to be there again? It's so hard to predict performance there, based on what the car does in the 1/4 now I'd like to think I have a shot at 170, but I could easily be wrong.

No sir; I am unable to make the Mile this event but will likely be able to make the next one. I have a wedding (not mine) that I am going to be attending soon so most of my trips have been put on hold to save some funds for that. I'll be running in FFW on the 24th which will be my last car event for a few months so I should be ready for the next meet in Beeville.

Did you have the 4.30s in the car at the mile? If so I think you going to the 3.31 is going to help you pass your goal. Your car has a pretty healthy trap so I would expect good things.

Yes, 4.30 previously at both Goliad and Beeville, with a best of 160.4 at Goliad when the car trapped the 1/4 right at 120. Previously I used 4 gears in 1/4 and 5 in the mile. Now it will be 3 and 4.

You have the shifting issues worked out pretty nicely it seems by looking at what WBTs car is doing and by your times. I recall you having a few issues out at Beeville but were still making decent passes.

Now is the time to start calculating rpms and tire size

Correct. It does look like the stock rears probably aren't going to work for me if I want to keep it in 4th gear, the processor will be out of RPMs at about 165mph. I do have 29" tires on another pair of stock GT wheels, these should be good for about 176mph in 4th.

Correct; that is what size tire I was going to be running when I had my 2011, be sure to check the speed rating on them as I was having a difficult time finding a tire rated for that range.

These are tires for a Cayenne, 255/55ZR18 with a Y speed rating. That's probably about the only vehicle with a tall tire that needs a high speed rating.

I still have a Boss intake and 47# injectors sitting in my garage from my old car. I may get the itch to slap that on with some e85 and see how low I can go on the motor.
