I just did my whole motor, tranny and suspension myself. Then I look at your build and feel like I built my project out of Lego's. Great job so far.

How much weight does that cage add to the car ? It looks like aprx 1 5/8" OD tubing used. Is it CM..or DOM..and what wall thickness? That's a lot of precision cutting and welding. It's also the real deal.

This cage is 25.3 it is CM not one piece of DOM. all Tig Welded. I do not know the exact amount of weight it will add. but rather have the weight and be safe than not have it, just make more HP if i need it

also i am replacing the stock wheel wells with Carbon Fiber and the back will be all carbon fiber so this will save weight from the additional bars
