i just had my 2012 fixed for this. there's a TSB for it that covers 2011-2013 Mustangs. they have to replace the front lower control arm(s).

Well mine's at 32k and has been back twice. It's been squeaking since 12k miles. They have completely replaced the front lower control arms and it still squeaks but only when it gets wet. Newly washed or when it rains.
It's ony when I go to stop. It's not that bad. Annoying, but I've learned to live with it. Tired of taking it back and forth to the dealer.

just FYI, the haven't redesigned the control arm bushings to cure the squeak so there's no guarantee that the replacements will be a cure. they're just playing the odds on most being quiet.

if i didn't live in an apartment complex with speedbumps i could have ignored it too.

I've got almost 40k on my 11 with zero squeaking, I must be really lucky because with all of the small problems these are known to have I don't really have any

If you know it's the bushings and Ford can't/won't fix it, have some aftermarket urethane bushings installed. That will probably fix it. And it's an "upgrade".

know where to find replacement bushings for the rear of the front lower control arm?

they come with new aftermarket lower control arms for either $500 or $800 depending on which of the two out there you go with.

Prothane, Energy Suspension, Maximum Motorsports. It's really as simple as a Google search. Summit Racing has them in stock.

apparently Google gives you different results. 05-10 and 11+ are different. Summit's $200 Prothanes are the 05-10 style. they don't show anything at all specifically for 11+.

remember, these are FRONT control arms, not REAR. :)

Please elaborate in the differences. Is it a new part number? What changed? Is it dimensionally different or different in the materials used? Like say different durometer rating on the OE rubber? Has anyone laid them side by side and measured to see if they are dimensionally the same? If they are dimensionally the same, why has nobody tried using them?

I am amazed that nobody anymore seems to be able to look beyond a part number and a "fitment" guide to see if something might work.

Took about 3 minutes.....
