Hey guys,

My friend owns a towing and body shop service and recently obtained a totaled 2015 v6 mustang. The engine however is fine and he has offered any parts I want off of it. Knowing the upgraded engine offers 300hp after the 2013 remodel I would love to drop this engine in and gain all the extra hp as well as put in a younger engine.

I am wondering if anyone knows...
A) is this engine swap possible or a even a good idea
B) if it is possible, how elaborate would it be to fit it? Would you have to be a experienced mechanic to even attempt this?
C) if this does require a experienced mechanic what kind of price tag would be associated for a swap like this?

Any information on this would be highly appreciated in advance

A) anything is possible with time, money, and the right tools
B) if you have to ask........
C) the most cost effective way is to swap EVERYTHING you possibly can from the 2015 to minimize electrical gremlins. I believe someone on this board has already done this swap from a wrecked 2015 model, but it was a GT.
