2016 MIR fall track rental!

hmmm, gotta see about clearing out the calendar. I haven't been down a dragstrip in 25+ years. The last trips I made to MIR was in a '68 Dodge Super Bee with a 505 NA MOPAR wedge that ran 10.20's. What's the current requirement for a helmet?

It's a track rental, as long as you have something on your head they will not check it.

Called MIR today; track is open/no storm damage, we will be bringing a grill to do hot dogs on, bringing a cooler for water/soda's (donations accepted ), gas can be purchased at the track, $100 a car, $10 spectator fee which will be refunded as long as you leave by 1800/0600 PM, gates open at 0900, should be racing by 0945, we have one lane, prepped out to the 60".

I will be in a 2016 Magnetic F150 and bringing basic tools/jack/stands and will be at the gate around 0845.

Weather looks awesome, mine shaft air ftw!

Yea man, the Facebook group kind of killed the forum. I actually asked Dasan about an upcoming track meet and he said you were having one so I decided to come over here and check. How many cars does it look like will be going?

Im hoping to hit 120-130 mph on a striaght at TWS in Dec. My quarter mile would be 15 secs
