295/45r17 on stock wheels/help

can anyone tell me if i can put those tires on stock size rim.i believe is a 17x8 if im not mistaken.if you have and have a picture can you please post it and does it hit on anything or it goes right in without complications.

they are too big IMHO for the stock wheel, yes it's 17 x 8, you need a 9" wheel min. Preferably 9.5-10

thanks man thats what i tought but was just checking to see if anyone had done it.its cheaper for me to put those in with the rims i have now than sell my tires and rims to go 15x8 at least with a 28 inch tall tire.

275/40 is what im running now on the 17x8 rim.the problem is im crossing the 1/8 mile in 4th gear at about 4500 rpms.i want to go to a 1/4 mile but i dont want to put it in o/d either.

Damn man, what's your final drive? I have 3.55 gears, 5 speed manual, and 275/40/17 MT Drag radials....I hit the 1/4 in 3rd at about 6200-6400 rpm.

WAY too big. I have 295's on a 10" rim and its perfectly flush.....you would buldge like crazy.
