3.4L Whipple Install

3.4 Whipples are called crushers.

No there not.the crusher is just a bigger inlet whipple makes.3.4 or a 2.3 can use a crusher inlet.I had one on my terminator.now going twin 65billets.

Wow great job on that new inlet for the 3.4. That looks much better vs the old one. With how much detail you have in every other part of the car, it definitely was worth the time and effort.

Do you ever go to Famoso? Or just Sacramento?

I goto bako and sac with my cars.
My cars consist of
65 elcamino LS based power plant and nitrous.Makes 530 on motor and almost 800 on bottle.
2003 twin turbo cobra(twin billet 65 turbos in house custom built turbo kit)old whipple nitrous combo went 9.37 at 155 850 whp 3.4 crusher with 50 shot powerglide trans solid axle 3.55s
2007 gt 11.40s at 123 with old nitrous combo 478 540tq,now on a kenny bell on 11 psi 480 whp 440 tq should go 11.60s.(daily driver)
1990 347 single turbo sleeper.
And new race car.1979 fox with 87 up body panels.Notch back 25.5 car 540 big block chevy with 100 mm single turbo.still just a bunch of parts lol.

yeah Elky has built some pretty sick cars on the track. Once we get the transmission finished I will be at there as much as possible

Forgestar F14 18x10 and 18x9 with a 305 in the rear. They are not on the car yet, still in the boxes next to the car.

Also it appears that with the new inlet built it also fits better then the one it came with. I just got a text that it does not look like there will be issues with it fitting on having to change my K-Member. Though nothing is definent yet until the car is running.

Still working on it. Just got the blower installed. Getting the rest of the parts powder coated took forever. Here was a shot took a couple days ago.

Still waiting on the MT Drag Radials and Meth Kit to come in. We didn't have to lower to block at all as well. The new inlet fits perfect and I have the Cervini's Ram Air hood so that added some clearance.

later on I will be going to the 10 rib. Just want to get the car running for right now. I wont be taking it to the track or beating it up right away. This winter I will be doing the trans swap so thats when I will probably go to the 10 rib.
