so lets get this straight. You agreed to sell the part to Matt, you took his money, and when someone else came along after you had agreed to the original deal, you refunded the money and took the second guys payment because he offered more? Thats pretty shady. It is you who should be worried about people making deals with you in the future, not Matt. Matt is a standup guy and his reputation on this site precedes him. You on the other hand havent been posting long, and already fucked up a deal. you rescind on your word. I feel sorry for the person actually getting the part.

No I expect that when a price is agreed upon and the money is sent that the deal is final. If you were unhappy you could have contacted me. YOU set the price not I. But I will take this else were. a deal is a deal Hellion, you agreed to a price for a part, Matt sent the money, in effect a contract of sale was committed to by both parties.

you broke this contract, without any comment to the buyer, sorry man, its on you.

on a side note. he didnt get banned necessarily for the deal. He threatened me with a pm. Not that im scared of his ass but its a lack of disrespect for both the deal and a mod that got him banned. on a side note i did find a pic of him

I agree...totally shady. I have had a situation like that come up where I had an asking price and someone low-balled me..and I took the offer. An hour later someone asked me full asking price.

I don't know about you guys, but I believe that egomez24 is just as much at fault for "EBay Sharking" him out of the parts. Yeah, there is a lot going on here, but the bottom line remains: Matt was confirmed to purchase, then sent payment. At that point, the egomez24 character sent a PM about the crank and rods, as the Hellion guy had added that he wanted to sell the rods as well. That was not part of his and Matt's deal, this was a new deal that excluded Matt. If that's not low down, dirty, and at the least, poor forum etiquette; I don't know what is. I would have asked, "is this guy not getting the whole package?" or "What's the deal now?" People are such asshats.





Are the mods going to correct Matt's Itrader? It sucks to be smited by a person of low or questionable character..

First of all, I didn't do anything wrong. If I decided not to post on this thread and contacted the seller through PM,s then thats my option. The seller told me no one had paid him for anything and whomever came up with the $ first would get it. I didn't offer more than his asking price but I didn't try to negotiate the price either but hey thats my choice, I think its pretty messed up of you to say that I tried to screw someone else out of it when the owner told me nobody had paid for it. If you guys want the stuff you can have it just refund me the money I paid for it which is the $575. I will send you the complete Crank, and Rods. Like i said I chose not to post on his thread but I had pm'ed on this kit also, A simple I already sold it would have been good but thats not what I was told. If a mod wants to release the PMs that Myself and the seller had , Be my guess, At no point did I offer more money to sell it to me, just a simple is it available and some Technical questions about the Crank and Rods. I have bought quite a few things here on s197 and only here recently have I had a couple of problems with it. I have pmed Zmann and he responded to me and I respect that he is Military but so am I and have been for twenty two years (Air Force) so I Know what integrity is and I assure you, your jumping the gun when you accuse me of any wrong doing.

you do not know that anyone ebay sharked anyone. you have no idea if he pmed him first. some ppl start deals in pms, not by psoting in the threads. its not fair to call anyone an ebay shark in this case.

only one person said that, it isnt the concensus so just calm down. you paid for the parts, hopefully you get them based on how much of an asshat hellion is.
