3 #8's at one east coast dealership. confirmed

Speaking with a tuner this am about revisions to my tune I was told about 3 #8 failures that were all job one cars and all were bone stock. All three are in a dealership right now. Apparently Ford wants this to remain very quiet. Before I get flamed the reception was horrible and I didn't hear where they are at. I'm sure I'll get a few troll jabs but I don't have more details other than #8 may turn out to be another big black eye. I hope someone may chime in with more details but three in one dealership at once is no joke.

I hope you can chime back in with more details. As it is that's pretty vague.

If I can get back in touch with him I will but he is on his way out of town. If I can get him to answer an email tonight I'll certainly pass on what I heard but the info is as reliable as possible.

I'm starting to wonder if people are just trying to give the new 5.0s a bad rep. I know that there are a couple of people who have actually had this #8 problem, but a lot of the time the details are shady at best about what was going on at the moment it happened.
It seems that now that the fire about the mt82 has died down a bit people need something else to complain about.

If this is the same Popeye from the Collective, I think he's legit. He's always posted in a mature fashion on the Collective before and I've never read forum fodder from him before over there.

We'll see.
