Bored on leave today, and decided to disassembly a complete LH/RH set of heads I had sitting on a shelf. Noticed that the oil holes in the lifters (AKA Hydraulic Lash Adjusters) were all over the place in relation to the center oil gallery.
In my previous Ford push-rod engines, we aligned the holes 180* opposite the oil gallery. Looked through both my digital and Ford Workshop Manual and there isn't a reference either way.
180* Out? 90*? Other? Does it really matter?
