to some people 1/4 mile times don't mean much. it's more about the prestige, the sound of the engine screaming at high rpms, all the technology, the super car looks etc etc. 400k does seem like a lot though, but most people who would buy the car don't care about the price tag.

IMHO, the 1/4 ET is the benchmark for all car performance.... Its the bread and butter of the car.. thats just "IMHO"

The LFA is not a good bang for your buck for anything, not even on the road course.

Its still cool though, from a strictly engineering perspective, and its performance is impressive.
Its kinda like the Bugattii Veyron. They just wanted to see what they could do with an unlimited budget.

On another note, prepare to be pissed off...

Yes, that is Paris hilton, and yes, that is her LFA, and no, I doubt she can drive it.

you have a very valid point. If I looking to buy a super car it definitely wouldn't be this one.

@ the picture above. yes that is her hand going down his pants. LOL.

Gorgeous car... Not worth the pricetag IMO.. Anybody who buys that car anyways (rich mofo) normally will never see the track as he doesn't know how to drive anyways. Money can buy you nice things that's for sure..

Would be intertaining to watch her try to drive it though.....

Although I do think these are over priced. When I think super car I think of top mph not so much quarter mile. None of these super cars hardly ever impress me in the quarter.

Yup, thats all they are really designed for if you ask me.... The probelm is, when do you ever have the time to enjoy that?

Another thing is that motor.... If its so cut down to save weight, how long will it last under stress? Not for nothing, but if I bought that car it better be around in perfect running condition for my grand kids to enjoy :roflmao:

That comment right there is mostly reserved for those of us who aren't balling out of control. The people that would drop 400k on this car have never said "what can I get for less?" :boobies: there is no such thing as bargain shopping and bang for buck etc... with these kinds of buys.

On a prepped track and a tire that's a 10 second car easy.

That car would shine at the Ring

With the amount of time, research, man-hours, and tech that goes into building each car, Lexus looses money even at 400k.

Exactly and good handling. Generally they couldn't care less about 1/4 mile times so it's really silly to compare them.

if you have the money to buy that car, you probably have the money to keep it running til your grandkids are around.

that's a car you build to flagship your brand for years. they may lose money on the cars, but its an investment in their reputation for many years to come. if that car becomes legendary then it will payoff for many years to come.

exactly. if i wanted the ultimate quarter mile car i would buy a top fuel dragster.
