I'm having no problems finding the Coyotes firing order, but cannot find out which cylinders are which number. I'm guessing 1-4 is passenger's side working from radiator towards the firewall, then 5-8 again from radiator to firewall but on the driver's side? Can someone confirm. I'm trying to diagnose a bad plug or coil-pack, and since the engine will give me the actual cylinder number of the mis-fire on my handheld tuner, I want to move the suspect coil-pack to see if the problem moves, if not, I'll do the same with the spark plug.

You are correct.

Are you getting p0300 plus additional cylinders or just a specific cylinder?

I'm getting multiple from the ecu not knowing the wot box is cutting them randomly, but I had cylinder 4 misfire, then it moved to cylinder 7 after I mixed everything up when I re-gapped the plugs. It's definitely not intermittent when it continues to misfire after the 2step is activated, and is missing on 1 cylinder, but after about 20 seconds or so it clears up and runs fine. has to be a plug or coil. The thing is that I don't want to spend the money for new plugs if it's a coil, and definitely not wanting to buy coils if it's a plug. here's a link to my dilemma.
