Are you swapping rotors too? The S550 6-piston calipers are made to go over 15” rotors, not the 14” that the S197 Brembo setup used. I’d say that the main concern might be the diameter of inner barrel of that wheel if you’re trying to put it over 15” brakes. Not all 19” wheels fit over brakes that size.

I have 19” American Muscle wheels and the calipers did not clear the inner barrel of my wheel. Plenty of offset clearance on the front of the caliper, but the inner diameter did not clear. This swap is very dependent on your wheel choice.

Correct. Depends on the wheel. I have the 6 piston calipers on my car with the GT500 15" rotors and they fit my wheels perfectly fine (daily 20s and my 18" skinnies seen below.)

How did u get 18" skinnies to fit over the 15" rotors ??
My 17" skinnies fit over mine. It's the backspace. The small part of the wheel does not make it to the caliper. And they are forged.

As mentioned, it depends on the design of the wheels. Backspace is important as well as design of the spokes on the wheel...whether they are straight, curved etc. The F14s are perfect in this regard. My car is not a drag car and I was not willing to remove my big brakes.

Hey guys, sorry for the late reply! The calipers and rotors fit perfectly with a 5mm spacer. Plenty of backspace and inner barrel clearance.
