My Buddy Willie Figueroa tuned a twin turbo saleen that belongs to a friend of mine and made 1006 rwhp with stock meter and mafia .
The 76mm Turbo on a stick shift car will feel a little lazy until it hits boost . An automatic with a looser converter like my set up would work better . You can run a 67mmbb Billet like Lightblade and even stickshift it will spool up fast . You can make 700 plus with that Turbo.

Good info Pete, thanks.

It sounds to me like you've mostly made up your mind but I figured I would chime in anyway. Ive been a turbo guy for a long time, even before having a turbo Mustang was cool. And I love my turbo car. When I went from a P600b procharger to a turbo way back when, I picked up an honest 4-5 mph in trap speed at the same boost level with no other changes and was sold.
But to this day if I was doing all the things you do with your car I would go centrifigal all day long. Actually more often than not if I was running FI on a track day only car thats what I would choose. The linear, predictable power just cant be beat in that environment IMO.

I agree 100%, honestly a N/A motor is better for track duty IMO.

I agree to a point, thats why I said "if". The instance I would want FI in a track day car would be a fast street car with the occasional track day.

Or if I wanted to go a little nuts and do something like Brads car here.
