I currently own 2006 Mustang GT, Auto, with 3.73 gears, Steeda CAI and SCT X3. I was wondering if their is any difference in hp or performance difference between the 91 and 93 tune?

will be minimal at best, but you want to use the tune for whichever octane gas you have in your area.

If you have 93 in your area go 93 and if you travel and have to put 91 just don't run it as hard to be safe.

My tuner hooked up his diagnostic machine and checked what timing I was running with my 91 tune (I used to live in California) and told me what he had been running on local cars with a 93 tune and the difference was substantial. I don't have dyno or track results yet, but he said my BamaChips tune was pretty conservative on the 91. Apparently with the decent South Carolina gas I could push 7-8 degrees more timing and pick up 10whp if not a little more.

Just something to consider, but definitely stick to the fuel type that's available in your area.

Tune it to the area you live in. When I had my 01 cobra in cali it was from factory tuned for 91 and when i moved to mass i could only use 93 which it did nothing but once i tuned it for 93 it felt much smoother.
