What would cause car to perform the same way with T/C on or off? Stang has felt slower, like its spinning ever since I've installed 6pt. roll bar. Previous tune car ran strong, next season after roll bar, felt slower. Recently got a new tune(different place) & same thing. Both tunes T/C is on when car is started, always just hit button to turn off. Before roll bar, you would definitely know whether it was on/off, accidentally forgot to turn off a few times, noticed immediate difference in acceleration. When the car is launched on street with T/C on or off, the T/C symbol never lights up on dash. ????

First thought: added weight of the bar itself can't help.
Offset with racing seat, BMR k-member & a-arms, rear seat removal. Rollbar added 10-15# to car after previous weight reduction.

You need to figure out your suspension for traction. Some drag or softer front springs and struts will help. Weight transfer is the key to good traction on a drag set up.
If the car isn't falling on its face with the TC on. It sounds like your tuner has it turned off in the tune.

This is an interesting topic. During my recent switch back to gasoline I've decided to keep the t/c on in the tune. I could swear that it makes no difference if it's on or off anymore. I have messed with a few different torque management parameters and maybe t/c is controlled through torque management? I have no idea but I can still break the tires loose with traction control on.

Did your tuner mess with anything related to torque management?

Edit: Turning tc off in the tune results in the light always being on.

I can light the tires up with it on. Only time mine has ever kicked on was on the dyno I had to turn it off.

Car doesn't fall on its face on or off, both tuners have it turned on. Trying to find out why car performs same on or off.

I know what you mean Bruce. I've never data logged it to see. But you have to spin the pretty bad for TC to step in. In mine I could spin them and it felt like it spooled like shit with TC on and if I continued to let them spin the TB would slam shut. But never off and on right off the batt.

If I don't turn on Sport mode or turn TC off completely (holding it down for 5-10 secs plus brake applied), mine falls flat immediately. You can really feel it.
