Ok say I currently have a V2 vortech complete kit. There is a "exile style" twin turbo on the market right now. (do not know if this is complete kit or not) he is interested on doing a trade. kit for kit. I have done my research and from what i see the exile TT is/was a good kit. better than the STS. My only concerns are its a custom build, i do know have much history on the seller he could be on this forum for all i know, (Dicky Jackson) and I have never played with turbos on any of my cars. I have installed them on friends cars and my cousin's miata.

My car is a DD. I am only looking for 450 hp. very rarely do I put my foot in it. Should I stay away from this or would it be a great deal?

The word 'custom' would worry me. Chances are it is custom to that car. I honestly would pass. Why can't you achieve those numbers with the kit you have currently?

I can get those numbers but with this possible trade I just want peoples thoughts. Minor changes wouldnt be a big deal because i will have to do the same with the SC that i have now.

If your car is a daily driver and you only want 450rwhp I don't see why you'd trade. There's no benefit from what I see and only risk not knowing what you're reading for.

Thanks! Im just one to always see what is out there. Only reason the SC hasnt been put on is because I am taking care of a few other things on the car like suspension and tires before I install this.

Like the others have said you already have what it will take to reach your goal. In fact you have enough to make far more power than you want. If you really wanted to get custom with what you have you could go with a smaller pulley to make boost faster and use a boost controlled to limit it.

A twin turbo kit even on a very low boost setup, hard to say without knowing the specifics of the turbos. Would be more then you would probably want to subject the stock block to.

Not saying anything is wrong with the kit, but for your modest goals it might be too much, unless you want to hit 6-700 in the near future.
