I'm looking into some aftermarket seats.

How many of you are running seats other then Corbeaus? I'm looking into a set of Brides but they don't make brackets for our car. Would I be able to use the Sparco or even the Corbeau brackets to mount them up?

I'd assume that most seats mount in the same places correct?

If not I might have to just get the FX1 Pro's.

I'm not sure about the brackets, but i think these seats r the tits for our car though, almost look just like the factory ones but with bolster-age

Are the brides side mount or bottom mount?

Also have you ever sat in a Bride seat before? i'm 5'8, 165lbs and 34-36" waist and i can barely fit into any of their seats comfortably...

Corbeaus feel really cheap and not really comfortable either, at least compared to a high end seat.

Do it right... Sparco / Recaro FTW

I've sat in one Bride seat and I liked it. :-\

I've only got a 30" waist though..

You are running static Sparcos correct? Got any pictures? Just worried about daily driving the car not being able to lean it back a bit for comfort.

I'll upload a few later tonight, mine are fixed back but honestly... i wouldn't want it any other way.

It puts you at the perfect position IMO, i've gone for a 4 hour trip in these sparcos and no complaints.

a 30" waist will make all the difference too lol

These pictures are a little old, from last summer atleast. Not much as changed aside from a few small details (steering wheel, floor mats, shifter), but anyways...

Also, the seat doesn't sit you "straight up" if thats what youre worried about... its actually very relaxing and the seat has a bit of a fixed recline to it. Very comfortable and very soft / cushioned.

The black duct tape is my home-made anti-wear patch, lol... I noticed the seat was starting to get some wear & tear there from me getting in & out so much. Not trying to screw up a $700 seat, heh.
