That would wear through the line. So its faulty install, nothing to do with the quality of the line...

Yea. It's being warped by the bushing it's zip tied to. And the edge is obviously rubbing against it. Very dumb install method

Im glad you were able to stop safely. I've had a brake line rupture in one of my old trucks and it definitely made my butt pucker a little lol. It happened on the freeway on ramp when the car in front of me braked hard. I had about half a second of pressure and then nothing. It ended up being a hard line rubbing on the steering shaft and it had worn thing. I was pumping my brakes like mad trying to build pressure but the hole was too large ( E brake was disconnected). Turns out every time i pumped the brakes it was shooting brake fluid onto my header haha.

So I ordered the FRPP brake lines.

I don't feel like getting SS braided lines any more even if it was the install that was the problem.

As long as the instal is correct they would be fine.
Don't let whoever installed previous lines touch them again.

Holy fuck... I had a major brain fart. For some reason I got stuck in my head that we were talking about the clutch line. Guess that's what happens when you are trying to multi-task and drink at the same time. :stooges:
